VA Tech Wabag (WABAG) is a leader in water and waste water management. The company provides design, construction and operational management of water and wastewater plants for both the municipal bodies and industrial sectors. The company has completed more than 1200 projects since 1995 and is present across more than 30 countries. The company has 60 operational sites across the world. It has more than 2000 employees.

Clients/ Key Projects:
– WABAG built the water treatment plant for the Jamnagar Refinery owned by Reliance which is the largest refinery in the world
– WABAG is setting up the water treatment plant for the RAPID project (RM60 billion) in Malaysia owned by Petronas

– Mr. Bhagwan Dass Narang, independent chairman of WABAG, has over 30 years of banking experience. He is a Post Graduate in Agricultural Economics
– WABAG’s major clients are municipal bodies where the receivable days are high (200-250 days). In spite of this, the company has managed its working capital very well
